I work at the Reelfoot Regional Library and have been here for almost 5 years. Before I began working here, I read all the time. Since my arrival at the library, I just can't seem to find the time to read.
Several weeks ago, I was processing a book that caught my attention. The title is The Glass Castle: A Memoir by Jeannette Walls. This is a non-fiction book about her childhood. I think I enjoyed reading this book more than any I have ever read. It is amazing to me how resilent children actually are and that these children survived in spite of their parents. It was wonderfully written, easy to read, and a definite page turner as I neared the end. If you enjoy reading, please add this book to your list of "must reads".

I, too, have been into memoirs lately. I get stuck on a genre and read everything I can get my hands on. Try The Unwanted: A Memoir of Childhood.
